Meanwhile, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) leadership has said its accomplishment so far has seen to the gradual restoration of life in the region, as the original inhabitants are gradually returning back home, even as the emergency management body has started closing some Internally-Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps in the North-East.
Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, who gave this assertion in Abuja when he received the Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Mohammed Sani-Sidi, who paid him a courtesy call, said the determination of the military to defeat the terrorists is unbending, adding: “The effect of the successes has further reassured the citizens who have started returning back to their villages. Normalcy is gradually returning to the North-East due to the achievements being recorded against the Boko Haram terrorists.”
