The coach publicly accused the NFF of owing him three months salaries, holding on to their bonus and abandoning his team with just a month to the Rio Olympics qualifying tournament in Senegal.
He said that having complained several times to the NFF without any result, he was not to be held responsible if the U23 team fail to qualify for Rio 2016.
A member of the NFF told our correspondent that the action of Siasia could get him fired in some other places.
He said, “Siasia is now a manager and not a player which he should understand. The change in the banking policy of the government using single treasury account has changed a lot of things and the process of getting out funds takes quite a tighter route. It is not just the NFF. There’s a supervisory ministry and the problem also affects other federations.
“What he has done is highly embarrassing.”
The CAF U23 Nations Cup/Olympic qualifier will hold in Senegal from November 28.
